Nå er det oppgradering av Fyrhus 5 som står for tur og området rundt haugen kan oppleve uregelmessig leveranse av fjernvarme 8. og 9 oktober. Arbeidet utføres på dagtid og det forventes normal leveranse av fjernvarme kveld og natt begge dager arbeidet pågår. Se kartutsnitt lenger opp for området som blir berørt.
Svalbard Energi beklager ulempene dette medfører for våre kunder. Vår entreprenør anstrenger seg for at nedetiden og konsekvensene blir så korte og få som mulig.

Svalbard Energi’s work on upgrading the district heating system in Longyearbyen is still ongoing, and there may be periods of reduced district heating on Haugen on October 8th and 9th.
Svalbard Energi is working on rebuilding our district heating systems and circuits in Longyearbyen to increase supply security for the winter.
Currently, the upgrade of Boiler House 5 is next in line, and the area around Haugen may experience irregular district heating supply on October 8th and 9th. The work will be carried out during the day, and normal district heating supply is expected in the evening and night on both days the work is ongoing. See the map excerpt above for the affected area.
